When does a player sit out?
‘Sitting out’ is a feature that allows players to take a short break (s) from the game.
Sitting-out in Cash Games: If a player at any time has selected to ‘sit-out’ and he does not return thereby missing two rounds play, the system will automatically remove the player from his seat, consequently allowing that seat to be occupied by a waiting player.
Sit-out Management in tournament Games: If a player has opted for ‘sit-out’ during a tournament, the blind will be deducted from their chip balance during their big blind and small blinds. This will eventually result in a sitting-out player running out of chips and being eliminated from the tournament.
Players are ‘sitting-out’ and it is ruining the game continuity in tournaments! Is this allowed?
Yes, ‘sitting-out’ is allowed in tournaments. It is up to individual players how they use the sit-out option. In tournaments, to sit out is to automatically fold every hand that is being played, so it’s not wise to miss hands. However, poker players are human beings who sometimes need to make a phone call, visit the toilet or just stretch their legs after winning a big pot! Sitting out just allows someone to take a breather, while allowing for a seamless gaming experience for the players still at the table.
What happens if I get disconnected in the middle of hand during a cash game?
Disconnection from the game may occur due to various reasons and consequently, prevent a player from acting on time. To tide over this issue, an extra 60 seconds are given to a disconnected player to reconnect again.
If the player successfully reconnects in the allotted time, an extra 10 seconds will be given to the player to make the move and continue. If the player is still unable to connect, then his default action will be ‘check’. If checking isn’t allowed, his cards will be folded so that the other players can continue playing the hand.
If a disconnected player does not return within 2 rounds of play, he will be removed from the table and his seat will be made available to other people.
What happens if I get disconnected in the middle of a hand in a tournament?
If a player gets disconnected in a tournament, then his seat will be reserved and he can re-join anytime. However, his blinds and antes will continue to be posted until he runs out of chips and busts out.
What happens if the server crashes in the middle of a hand?
If the server crashes in the middle of a hand, all the participants’ account balances will be restored to what they were at the beginning of the hand. The hand would be declared a misdeal with all the blinds, antes and bets placed in that specific hand returned to the corresponding players.

Can customized notes be made for each player?

What’s the total amount in the pot?
